Overview

Marshalltown Community College, also known as MCC, is a public, community college located in Marshalltown, Iowa, United States. It was founded in the year 1927 as Marshalltown Junior College. The institution is also called Iowa Valley Community College. MCC also provides on-campus housing for students.

MCC has an active student and Greek life and is home to several clubs and organization including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Students Activities Council, Youth for Understanding, Older, Wiser learners (OWLS), and Phi Theta Kappa, among others. The college sports teams are known as the Tigers, and they compete in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference of the NJCAA. They participate in sports like basketball, football, softball, gol, and others.
