Martin Community College is a community college located in Williamston, North Carolina. MCC was established as Martin Technical Institute in 1968. It was later officially renamed Martin Community College on July 1, 1976. The college offers associate’s degrees, diplomas, and several certificate programs in subjects like automotive systems technology, biotechnology, business administration and electronics technology. The college also offers opportunities for continuing education and distance learning programs.
MCC has an active campus life, as there are several clubs and organizations operating on campus. The college also has an active Greek life, with several sororities and honor societies. Alpha Beta Gamma, the MCC’s Equine Club and the Student Government Association are some of the student clubs that organize educational and cultural activities for students.
