Overview
Maryville University of St. Louis, or Maryville University, is located in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It was established in 1872. The college was founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart, a Roman Catholic order set up in France. Maryville University became a four-year college in 1923 and was recognized as a university in 1991.
The university campus covers an area of 130 acres. The institute offers more than 40 academic programs in diverse areas of study. Maryville University of St. Louis is organized into the following academic schools and colleges:
