Overview
Mayo Medical School, also known as MMS, is a part of the Mayo Clinic. The school was established in 1972, and is located in Rochester, Minnesota. The institute offers various career-specific programs in the field of medicine. Some of these are medical scientist training program, oral and maxillofacial surgery program and Barrett program. The school provides various dual degree programs in collaboration with other universities as well as a visiting medical clerkship program. In addition, the school offers various research options to students.
Mayo Medical School is home to a number of organizations such as The American Medical Women’s Association, The American Medical Students Association and The Student National Medical Association. Students at MMS receive financial assistance in the form of loans and scholarships. The school also offers career exploration workshops to students.
