Overview

McDaniel College is a four-year liberal arts college located in Westminster, Maryland, United States. It was founded in the year 1867 as Western Maryland College. The main campus spreads across an area of 160 acres. McDaniel also operates a satellite campus in Budapest, Hungary. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

McDaniel College hosts several student clubs and organizations for the overall development of its students. Some of the clubs are the International Club, Multicultural Students Association, and Alpha Kappa Delta. The college also has an active Greek life with several fraternities and sororities on campus. The college's student-run newspaper is the "McDaniel Free Press."
