McPherson College

McPherson College was established by the Church of the Brethren in 1887. It is a four-year, liberal arts college located on a 23-acre campus consisting of residence halls, academic buildings and a library. It offers bachelor’s degree programs through varied departments, including art, business, communication, history, music, natural sciences, theatre and technology. The college also offers study abroad programs, interdisciplinary majors and pre-professional courses.

MC has an active Greek life, consisting of honor societies such as Alpha Psi Omega, Beta Beta Beta, Phi Alpha Theta and Phi Sigma Iota. The college also offers a large number of other clubs and organizations to its students, such as the Computer Club, Rotaract, Business Club and the Behavioral Science Club. The college also publishes a newspaper called ‘The Spectator.’

Housing and Meals

McPherson College provides on-campus housing for 430 of its 517 (full-time) students (as of 2007). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.
