Overview

Medaille College is located in central Buffalo, New York, United States. The college was established in the year 1875 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, for the purpose of training teachers. It was chartered in 1937. The college has other campuses located in Amherst and Rochester. The college offers degrees and certificate programs in the fields of business administration, education, and communication, among others.

A wide variety of student clubs and organizations are available at Medaille College. Students are members of societies such as the Resident Student Council, Student Government Association, Drama Club, Ice Hockey Club, and Fencing Club. Students publish an on-campus newspaper called the "Perspective," and a literary magazine called the "Prelude." The student-operated radio station of Medaille College is WMCB. The men's and women's teams participate in sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball.
