The Medical University of Ohio at Toledo is now known as the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. It was originally founded as the Medical College of Ohio in 1964 and later became the Medical University of Ohio. In July of 2006, MUO merged with the University of Toledo to become the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo. It occupies a 450-acre campus in Toledo, Ohio.
The University of Toledo Health Science Campus offers more than 80 master’s and 15 doctoral degree programs. The academic divisions of the university are:

- College of Medicine
- College of Nursing
The University of Toledo Health Science Campus sponsors clubs and organizations like the Council for Graduate Students, the Organization of Student Representatives, the Student Nurse Association, thr Psychiatry Club, the Gay/Straight Alliance, the Maimonides Society and the Humanities Association.
