Originally founded in 1917 as the Mercy School of Nursing, Mercy College of Northwest Ohio is located in Toledo. All the academic programs of the college are in the field of health sciences. The areas of study include health care administration, health information technology, nursing and radiologic technology. However, it also offers an associate’s degree program in general studies. Mercy College offers online degrees and courses as well.
Mercy College has an alumni association known as the Mercy Alumni Association, which was founded in 1923. It organizes luncheons, annual meetings and banquets. Mercy News, a quarterly publication informs members and everybody associated with the college about the latest news and happenings. The college also assists the students in getting placed in their respective fields.
