Mesalands Community College

Mesalands Community College, a two-year higher education school, was originally recognized as Tucumcari Area Vocational School (TAVS). It was named Mesalands Community College on September 11, 2001. The school is spread across an area of over 20 acres of land in Tucumcari, New Mexico. The main campus comprises 5 buildings.

Mesalands Community College presently offers associate’s of arts and associate’s of applied science degrees in diverse areas of study. Programs are offered in diverse areas of study including computer science, business, fine arts bronze, paleontology, commercial truck driving, nail technology and education.

Mesalands Community College hosts numerous clubs and organizations. Some of them include Chi Alpha/College Christian Fellowship, Natural Sciences Club, Diesel Technology Club, and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
