Overview

The Methodist College of Nursing is a non-profit, private college located in Peoria, Illinois. The school was founded in 1900, when the Deaconess Home and Hospital and its School of Nursing was established by the Deaconess of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing through full time on-campus and on-line programs.

Financial aid is available to needy and eligible students through several loans and grants. Scholarships like the Marylynn Allen Scholarship, the Marie Fortino Scholarship, the Harold E. McAvoy Memorial Scholarship and the Rosemarie Murdock Memorial Scholarship are also available to qualified students.
