Overview

Mapple Woods Community College, also known as Metropolitan Community college (MCC), was founded in 1969. MCC- Mapple Woods campus is located in Kansas City, Missouri. The college enrolls more than 10,000 students annually. MCC also operates several other campuses which include the Blue River campus, the Business & Technology Center, Longview, Maple Woods, and Penn Valley.

The student body of MCC is diverse and is represented by different communities and countries. It has an active student administration to promote student development. The college is home to several clubs and organizations. Some of them are Phi Theta Kappa, the Cultural Exchange Club, the Engineering Club, and the Fine Arts Club. The campus is also home to a well developed sports training center.
