Overview

Miami Dade College is a public college located in Miami, Florida. It was established in 1959 as the Dade County Junior College and changed its name to Miami Dade College in 1973. The college is run by the Florida Community College's Board of Trustees.

The student population of the college is as diverse as that of Miami-Dade County. It operates seven over campuses and various outreach centers. The campuses include:
