Mid-Plains Community College

Mid-Plains Community College, also popularly known as MPCC, was founded by the Nebraska legislation that was enacted between 1973 and 1975. MPCC was created by merging three pre-existing and independent institutions. At present, Mid-Plains Community College serves an 18-county area through a network of primary campuses located at McCook and North Platte, and satellite campuses at Broken Bow, Ogallala, Imperial, and Valentine. MPCC offers Associate degrees in Arts, Science, Applied Science, and General Studies. It also awards certificates and diplomas in a number of career oriented programs in technical fields.
