Overview
Middle Tennessee State University, or MTSU, was founded on September 11, 1911. It is an American university located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It was originally known as Middle Tennessee Normal School and gained the status of university in 1965.
Earlie, MTSU was known only for its Education and Nursing programs; but now, it is famous for various programs such as Aerospace, Business, Mass Communication/Recording Industry, and Music. The campus covers over 450 acres. MTSU is organized into the following academic divisions:
