Overview

Midland Lutheran College was established as a private institution of liberal arts in 1883 by German Lutheran immigrants. MLC was originally located in Atchison, Kansas but it is now situated in Fremont, Nebraska. In 1962, Luther College merged with Midland Lutheran College.

Midland Lutheran College offers over 45 academic programs in the fields of business administration, foreign language, journalism, mass communication, physics & astronomy and social science, among others.

Students at Midland Lutheran College are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations, including the International Students Organization, the Student Education Association, Beta Sigma Psi, Alpha Lambda Delta and the Society for Collegiate Journalists.

Room and Board

Midland Lutheran College provides on-campus housing for 566 of its 705 (full-time) students (as of 2009-2010). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Athletics
