Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, MBTS, was founded by the Southern Baptist Convention on May 29, 1957. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, MBTS is one of the 6 seminaries under the Southern Baptist Convention.

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary offers associate's, and bachelor's degrees through the Midwestern Baptist College. Master's degrees are awarded in divinity, counseling, music, Christian education, archaeology, and biblical languages. Students can also opt for doctorate degree programs in ministry, Old or New Testament studies, and educational ministry.

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary supports a variety of clubs and organizations. Students are members of the Midwestern Evangelistic Teams, 31Woman, the Student Body Association, the Midwestern Missions Fellowship, the Midwestern Praise Team, and Midwestern Singers. MBTS also publishes a news magazine called "The Midwestern".
