Overview

Midwestern State University was originally founded as Wichita Falls Junior College in 1922. It was renamed Hardin Junior College in 1937, and when a senior division was added in 1946, the name was changed to Hardin College. In 1950, Hardin College became Midwestern University before being given its present name in 1975. The campus of this university sits on 179 acres of land.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Lone Star Conference for major sports.
