Overview

Miles College is a historically black college located in Fairfield, Alabama, United States. It was established in 1905 by the Colored Methodist Episcopal Church. Originally, it was known as Miles Memorial College and was named after Bishop William H. Miles. Later in 1941, the college was renamed Miles College. The college campus covers more than 50 acres. Miles College offers an array of degrees and certificate programs and is organized into the following academic divisions:

Miles College has officially recognized several Greek-lettered Organizations. Some of these fraternities and sororities include Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Phi Beta Lambda, and Sigma Gamma Rho.
