Milwaukee Institute Of Art & Design

The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) was founded in 1974 as a professional college of art and design. MIAD is the successor of Layton School of Art, established in 1920. MIAD is located in Milwaukee, USA and offers bachelor’s of fine arts degrees in architecture, designing, photography, painting and many more subjects. More than ten major and over seven minor programs are offered by the college.

The Area Representative Team (ART) is comprises an active group of students that works alongside the MIAD staff, and Board of Trustees to promote community life and quality education. Student organizations at MIAD include The Community Awareness Team, Multi-Cultural Student Organization, The Ecology Committee, an environmental awareness and community service organization and many more.
