Mississippi Delta Community College, also referred to as MDCC, is located in Moorhead, Mississippi, United States. It was established in the year 1926 and was originally known as Sunflower Junior College. The college enrolls more than 3,000 students on an annual basis. The students are offered degrees and certificate programs in areas of study such as business, law enforcement, and fine arts.
Students of Mississippi Delta Community College are engaged in a variety of clubs and organizations on campus. Some of these include are The Delta Dancers, Student Religious Life, Phi Theta Kappa, Instrumental Organizations, and Phi Beta Lambda. The campus is also home to the student-run newspaper called "The Delta Herald." Students also publish the literary magazine "At Pen Point."
