Overview

Mitchell College is a liberal arts college located in New London, Connecticut, United Sates. It was originally established in 1938 as New London Junior College which finally became Mitchell College in 1950. The college offers associate’s degrees, bachelor’s and post graduate certificate degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. The students can obtain associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in business administration, criminal justice, communication, early childhood studies, environmental studies, hospitality and tourism and psychology.

Apart from academics, the students of Mitchell College actively participate in a number of clubs and organizations including Business Club, Radio Club, Commuter Association, Dance Club, Pequot Drama Society, African American Alliance, Residence Hall Council and Phi Theta Kappa. The athletic teams of the college participate in several intramural sports.
