Montgomery County Community College, also known as MCCC, Montco, or MC3, is a two-year, community college. The college was founded in 1964 and the main campus, nearby Blue Bell, was opened in 1972. It offers associate degrees and technical certification in several fields. There is also a satellite campus located in Pottstown, which opened in 1996.
MCCC is home to a wide variety of student clubs and organizations for the overall development of students. Some of the organizations are the Community Service Club, Criminal Justice and Fire Science Club, Drama Club, and Environmental Club. The student body of MCCC has an impressive number of International students. There are special organizations to assist foreign students with admission into the college.
