Mount Aloysius College

Mount Aloysius College, also known as MAC, is situated in Cresson, Pennsylvania, United States. It was founded in the year 1853 by The Sisters of Mercy. This college offers degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including applied technology, elementary education, information technology, surgical technology, and nursing. The three academic divisions of MAC are:

  • Health Studies and Sciences
  • Humanities, Social Science, and Professional Studies
  • Nursing

MAC has sponsors many student clubs and organizations including the American Sign Language Club, Medical Imaging Club, Students in Free Enterprise, Student Government Association, Psi Mu Alpha, and Residence Hall Association. The men’s sports teams of MAC compete in baseball, golf, soccer, basketball, and cross country. The women’s teams compete in soccer, basketball, softball, cross country, and volleyball.
