Mount Mercy College is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was founded in the year 1928. The Sisters of Mercy are responsible for its establishment. The campus spreads over an area of approximately 40 acres. Students are offered degree and certificate programs in diverse fields of study including health services administration, computer science, medical technology, management information systems, and special education.

There are several student clubs and organizations at Mount Mercy College. Some of the popular ones are Circle K International, Criminal Justice Association, Mount Mercy Association of Nursing Students, College Pastoral Council, Student Government Association, Drama Club, and Outdoor Recreation Club. The sports teams participate in baseball, basketball, track and field, soccer, sofball, volleyball, golf, and cross country.
