Overview
Mount Vernon Nazarene University, commonly referred to as MVNU, is a private, Christian, liberal arts institution located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1968 as a junior college for Eastern Nazarene College. In 1970, it became a fou-year college. In 2002, it was renamed Mount Vernon Nazarene University. In addition to the main campus, classes are also offered in Polaris, Gahanna, Mansfield, Lima, Newark, Marion, Cincinnati, and Grove City.
