Mt Hood Community College

Mt. Hood Community College is a public community college located in Gresham, Oregon. It was founded in 1966. MHCC enrolls more than 25,000 students each year. Its main campus is spread across an area of over 200 acres. MHCC’s academic programs include automotive technology, nursing, music, funeral science and transfer opportunities to four-year universities.

The college is identified for a popular jazz performance program. It is also has a jazz radio station, KMHD. The campus is home to several other clubs and organizations as well. Some of the notable alumni of the college are Chris Botti, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter; and Todd Field, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker.
