Overview

National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) is a school of health science education situated in Lombard, Illinois. It was formerly known as The National College of Chiropractic. It was established in 1906 by chiropractor John Howard. The college offers degree programs in naturopathic medicine, chiropractic medicine, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and biomedical sciences. NUHS also provides certificate programs in chiropractic assistants and massage therapy.

NUHS has several on-campus clubs and organizations including Activator Club, Community Tutoring Club, Student Canadian Chiropractic Association, Naturopathic Medical Students Association, and Sigma Phi Kappa Fraternity. Approximately 80 percent of the NUHS students depend on some sort of financial assistance. The college also has financial assistance options for the international students.
