Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, NCTA, is a public, 2-year, co-educational associate college situated in Curtis, Nebraska, that was founded in 1965 as land-grant institution. According to a pollster at the Cornell College in Iowa, it is the oldest school campus that was formerly a highschool, and remains an educational institute today. NCTA’s campus is situated on more than 70 acres and the school also has a 562-acre farm that serves as a field laboratory.
Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture offers a variety of academic programs in the fields of agriculture production systems, agribusiness management, horticulture systems, and veterinary technology, among others.
Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture supports several student clubs and organizations. Among those available on campus are the Horticulture Club, the Safari Club, the Women in Agriculture organization, and the Collegiate 4-H. Students of the college also participate in sports such as volleyball, basketball, softball, and football.
