New Brunswick Theological Seminary, NBTS, is a four-year or above, not-for-profit, private graduate school situated in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The seminary, established in 1784, first moved to Brooklyn, New York in the year 1796 before it subsequently shifted to New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1810. NBTS offers programs and courses leading to a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS), and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree.
New Brunswick Theological Seminary hosts several clubs and organizations which include The Student Society, The Student Society of Inquiry (SSI), and The Reformed Church in America students. The Association of Black Seminarians is an active chapter of New Brunswick. The Gardner Sage Library of NBTS contains more than 10,000 bound periodicals and more than 150,000 books.
