New England College Of Optometry

The New England College of Optometry, located in Boston, Massachusetts, was established by Dr. August Andres Klein in 1894 as the Klein School of Optics. Commonly abbreviated as NECO, the college offers specialized programs in the field of ophthalmology.

NECO offers graduate and doctoral degree programs in course areas such as optometry, vision science and clinical education. The college also offers international and research programs.

NECO has a chapter of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity. The college also has a number of other associations, such as the Performance Vision Club, the American Optometric Student Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
