New England Culinary Institute at Essex, also referred to as NECI-Essex, is a career oriented, private, co-educational culinary college. The second campus of NECI, located in Essex Junction, Vermont, opened on August 23, 1989. The institute offers programs in baking and pastry, culinary arts, and hospitality and restaurant management.
The students of New England Culinary Institute at Essex participate in numerous student activities and professional organizations such as SkillsUSA and the American Culinary Federation. In order to promote community involvement, the institute also encourages students to participate in community service events. Eligible students of NECI-Essex are also offered financial assistance by the institute.
