Overview
The New England School of Communications is located in Bangor, Maine. This private institution was established in 1981 as the New School of Broadcasting. The campus was originally located in Broadcast House, but was shifted to its current campus location in 1985. The college confers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in communication. The various programs include audio engineering, video technology, digital media and marketing communications.
The New England School of Communications has an active student life, with on-campus organizations and clubs like Alpha Phi Omega, the Accounting Society and the Criminal Justice Club. The students of NESCom run a radio station known as WHSN (89.3 FM). The center organizes various workshops like the Theatre Experience and the Rock Band Camp as well.
