New Mexico Junior College, also known as NMJC, is located in Hobbs, New Mexico, United States. Classes began in the year 1966. The sprawling campus spreads over an area of more than 240 acres. The college offers associate degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study including art, economics, mathematics, nursing, and business. The college also offers distance education programs to students.
The recognized student clubs and organizations available on campus includes the Baptist Student Union, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government, Drama Club, and College Democrats. The NMJC men participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, golf, and rodeo, and the women are involved in rodeo, track and field, cross country, and basketball.
