The New Mexico Military Institute, located in Roswell, New Mexico, was founded by Colonel Robert S. Goss in 1891. Originally known as the Goss Institute, the college offers associate’s degree programs in areas of study like business administration, computer information systems, military science, life science and mathematics. The college also offers pre-med and pre-engineering courses. NMMI is comprised of the following academic divisions:

- Junior College
NMMI’s students enjoy an active and vibrant cadet life at the campus. The college’s athletics department sponsors teams in volleyball, basketball, tennis and football. Its athletic teams are nicknamed as Broncos.
