New Mexico State University-Carlsbad is a two-year branch community college of the New Mexico State University founded in 1888. It is located in Carlsbad, Mexico. The campus of NMSU-C occupies an area of 142,000 square feet.

New Mexico State University-Carlsbad offers associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs in several subjects. In addition, the university offers certificate programs in the fields of accounting, electrical trades and banking, among others. Students can also opt for adult basic education services, continuing education programs or any of the several pre-professional programs.
