New River Community and Technical College is located in Beckley, West Virginia, United states. It was established on July 1, 2003. The two parent instituations of New River are Glenville State College, founded in 1872, and Bluefield State College, established in 1895. In addition to the main campus in Beckley, the college has campuses located in Bluefield, Summersville, Lewisburg, and Beaver. New River offers a wide variety of associate degrees and certificate programs in several areas of study.
