New River Community College, located in Dublin, Virginia, is also referred to as NRCC, and was established in 1958. Ooriginally known as New River Vocational-Technical School, today NRCC enrolls more than 4,000 students annually. NRCC is under the Virginia Community college system and offers its students various degree and certificate programs through its many academic departments including:

New River Community College has various clubs and organizations for its students including the Multi-Cultural Club, the Black Awareness Association, the Sign Language Club, Phi Theta Kappa, and Campus Crusade for Christ.
