Overview

New York College of Podiatric Medicine, located in Manhattan, New York, was established in 1911, by Dr. Maurice J. Lewi. Commonly abbreviated as NYCPM, it was the first Podiatric medical School to be established in the United States. The institute, which offers specialized education in podiatric medicine, has courses in orthopedic science, pediatrics, and surgical science. Continuing medical education is also available at the college.
