Overview

Normandale Community College, or NCC, was founded in 1968 as Normandale Junior College. In its first year, the college enrolled 1,358 students. NCC is administered by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. The college's campus encompasses approximately 90 acres in Bloomington, Minnesota. NCC offers several degree and certificate programs and is organized into many academic units. Some of the departments are business administration, marketing and management, computers/information management, hospitality management, and world languages.

NCC also offers numerous scholarships such as the Normandale Foundation Scholarship Program, American Indian Scholarships, Academy of Math and Science Scholars, George and Geraldine Warmbrod Scholarship, MacDonald Geography-Geology Department Merit Scholarship, and many more.

Some of the student-run clubs and organizations of NCC are Phi Theta Kappa, Communications Club, Hospitality Management, Pre-Professional Club, Black Student Alliance, Oromo Student Union, Bowling Club, Kappa Beta Delta, and Dental Hygiene Club.
