Overview

North Arkansas College, a two-year public college, is also known as Northark. The college, which provides technical and transfer degree programs, also provides technical certificates. It was the first institution to be accepted as an AQIP institution. The North Arkansas College, which offers degrees in agriculture, business and technology, science, humanities, and mathematics, also provides Distance Education opportunities.

The sports teams of the university, known as the Pioneers and Lady Pioneers, participate in sports such as softball, basketball, baseball, and rodeo. The students are also active in organzations including the Baptist Student Ministries, Phi Theta Kappa, the Booster Club, and Phi Beta Lambda. Scholarships including the Allbright-Moore Memorial Scholarship, and the Arkansas Fiddler's Association Scholarship are available as financial aid opportunities for students.
