Overview
North Carolina Wesleyan College, also known as NCWC, is located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, United States. It was established in 1956. The college's first Chairman was Mr. W. Jasper Smith. The first classes were held in 1960. In fact, the 200 acre property of NCWC was originally donated by the Braswell family. The college also has satellite campuses in Goldsboro and Morrisville.
NCWC has several fraternities and sororities including Alpha Phi Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma, Psi Chi, Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and Sigma Tau Delta. In addition, the college has other student organizations such as the Student African American Brotherhood, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Club Dramatica, Cinematography Club, Science Club, Politics Club, and Stepping Stars Dance Team.
NCWC participates in the USA South Athletic Conference and is a member of the NCAA Division III. They are called the Battling Bishops.
