North Central Michigan College, also referred to as NCMC, is located in Michigan, United States. It was founded in 1958 and is the 12th community college of Michigan. The present campus started developing in 1962 after the college bought 10 acres of land followed by 120 adjacent acres. The first buildings were completed the following year. More land was bought over the next few years in order to build additional facilities. The college added a 71,000 square foot Student and Community Resource Center in 2001.
North Central Michigan College offers certificate and associate degrees in Applied Science, Arts, General Studies and Science. In addition to the main campus, it also operates satellite campuses at the University Center at Gaylord, Cheboygan High School, and Lake Street Center in East Jordan.
