North Dakota State College of Science, also referred to as NDSCS, is a two-year, public college which is part of the North Dakota University System. It was established in 1903. The college currently offers a diverse range of technical and career education as well as liberal arts transfer programs. The chief academic departments at NDSCS are:

  • Arts, Science and Business Division
  • Technologies and Services Division

The Arts, Science, and Business Division provides programs and courses in liberal arts and general and pre-professional education. These courses may be transferred to colleges and universities that award bachelor degrees. The division also has highly-regarded courses in allied health, agriculture, computer information systems, business, and associated careers. The Technologies and Services Division provides training for a combination of theoretical learning, laboratory, and shop curriculum practices across a number of technical fields. NDSCS also allows students enrolled in a particular program in one department to opt for applicable programs in other department.
