Overview

North Park University is located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was founded by the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1891. It moved to its current location in 1894. The oldest building of the campus was erected on June 16, 1894. In 1958, North Park Junior College was renamed to North Park College. It gained university status in 1997 and settled on its present name. North Park is beautifully nestled in an area of more than 30 acres in Chicago. It enrolls approximately 3,000 students annually and offers an array of degrees and programs through the following academic units:

North Park Student Association has recognized a number of on-campus student organizations including the Society of Physics Students, Student Nursing Association, Business Club, Music Club, Black Student Association, Latin American Student Organization, Scandinavian Student Association, and many more.
