Overview
North Shore Community College is a two-year community college located in Danvers, Massachusetts. It was established in 1965. NSCC also operates a satellite campus Lynn and a campus in Beverly. The college offers associate degrees and transfer programs for students who wish to earn credits for transfer to four-year colleges or universities. NSCC offers more than 100 academic programs in diverse areas of study.
NSCC has its own student-run newspaper, The Pennon. The campus is home to several student clubs and organizations. Some of these are the Performing Arts Council, Student Civic Engagement-Anti-Violence Club, Phi Theta Kappa and the Poets and Writers Society.
