Overview

Northeast Iowa Community College Calmar, established in 1966, is located in Iowa. It became a community college in 1988 and it is under the authority of the Iowa State Board of Education. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Approximately 5,000 students are presently enrolled at NICC.

The campus has 7 buildings, and is spread across nearly 200 acres. The college awards Associate in Science degrees, Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees and diplomas.

Northeast Iowa Community College Calmar has an active student life with numerous clubs and organizations. The college participates in a wide variety of sports including volleyball, softball, golf and basketball.
