Overview

Northern Essex Community College is a community college that offers enrollment to more than 15,000 full-time and part-time students every year. Online and non-credit courses are also offered by NECC. The college has two campuses in:

  • Haverhill
  • Lawrence

NECC has several student clubs and organizations, including the student senate, performing arts club, academic and special interest clubs and the women’s networks groups, among others.

The award-winning literary arts magazine of NECC, Parnassus, features fiction, poetry, art, creative nonfiction and photography work from NECC students.

Sports teams of NECC are known as the Knights, and participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, volleyball and track & field.
