Northwest Christian College

Northwest Christian College is now known as Northwest Christian University or NCU. It was established in 1895 by pastor-educator, Eugene C. Sanderson as Eugene Divinity School. After a few name changes and a merger, it came to be known as Northwest Christian College in 1934. The name was officially changed to NCU on July 1, 2008. The university is located in Eugene, Oregon, United States. NCU offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

NCU’s athletics department sponsors more than 10 men’s and women’s sports teams. They compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The sports teams are nicknamed as the Beacons. The college offers financial aid to the needy students.
