Overview

Northwest College, also known as NWC, is located in Powell, Wyoming, United Staes. It was established in 1946 as the University of Wyoming Northwest Center. In its first year, the college enrolled 100 students and had three instructors. It became Northwest Community College in 1953. Later in 1989, the college was renamed to Northwest College. The college is beautifully nestled in an area of more than 120 acres. NWC is made up of the following academic units:

  • Social Science and Education Division
  • Visual and Performing Arts Division

NWC has more than 30 student clubs and organizations including the Baptist Student Union, Anime Club, Diversity Focus Group-Unity Through Diversity, Horseman's Club, Phi Theta Kappa, International Club, Block and Bridle Club, Student Photographers' Association, and Students in Free Enterprise.
